For any privacy questions, simply send an e-mail to this address.

This website shows events in the region. You can use it fully without an account and without providing any data. If you wish, you can additionally create an account, bookmark events, receive reminders, subscribe to the newsletter, or submit an event yourself — for these features, the data listed below will be processed.

There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking. That is why you will not see a cookie banner here: there is nothing to consent to that is not already necessary for the operation of the site.

Server logs

Whenever a page is accessed, our web server records: IP address, timestamp, URL accessed, amount of data transferred, referring page, and browser identifier.

Purpose: operation, troubleshooting, and defence against attacks.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in the secure operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention period: 14 days, after which the data is automatically deleted.

Audience measurement (Umami)

We count page views with Umami, which runs on our own server. It does not set cookies and does not store full IP addresses. The data collected are: page accessed, referring page, device class, browser, operating system, and a country of origin derived from the truncated IP. It is not possible to draw conclusions about individual persons.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing which content is in demand (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No data is transmitted to third parties, as the analysis takes place on our own infrastructure.

Images

Images for events come from the organisers' websites but are delivered via our server. Your browser therefore does not connect to third-party servers, and your IP address is not transmitted to them.

The following are stored: e-mail address, name or first name, profile picture (only when signing in via Google), your password exclusively as a cryptographic hash, year of birth (optional), your settings for the newsletter, location and categories, as well as the time of your last login.

Three options are available:

• E-mail and password — the address is verified by means of a confirmation e-mail.
• Sign-in via Google — in this case Google provides us with your e-mail address, your name and your profile picture. The privacy provisions of Google apply in addition.
• Sign-in link by e-mail — a one-time link that expires after a short time.

Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Stored until you delete your account.

Your account also includes bookmarked events, saved searches and reminder requests.

After you sign in, we set a cookie that keeps you logged in. It is technically necessary and serves no other purpose.

Depending on your settings: confirmation and sign-in e-mails, the weekly newsletter, reminders for bookmarked or accepted events, notifications for saved searches, and feedback to organisers after their event.

Newsletter

Subscription uses a double opt-in procedure: you will first receive an e-mail with a confirmation link; your address will only be added to the list afterwards.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw it at any time — via the unsubscribe link in every e-mail or informally by e-mail. The withdrawal takes effect immediately and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Invitations

Anyone who accepts an invitation link may voluntarily provide an e-mail address in order to be reminded of the event. This address is used exclusively for that reminder and is not shown to anyone — not even to the person who issued the invitation.

We only share data with the following service providers, and only to the extent they need it for their task:

Resend (USA) and MiniMax (China) are located outside the EU. The transfer is based on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

In plain language regarding MiniMax: event texts are sent there so that they can be categorised, linguistically cleaned up and translated. For self-submitted events, such texts may contain the names and contact details of organisers. If you do not wish this, you should not include any personal data in the description.

For posts on our Facebook page we do not transmit any user data — only events are published there.

The event details, an optionally uploaded image, and the link to your account are stored. When uploading, you confirm that you hold the rights to the image; the time of this confirmation is recorded.

Submitted events are publicly visible — that is their purpose. Bear this in mind when providing details such as telephone numbers in the description.

We automatically collect event listings from publicly accessible websites of municipalities, tourism associations and organisers. These may include the names of organisers or contact persons, insofar as they have been published there by those individuals themselves.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in a complete regional events overview (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Would you like an entry removed? An informal e-mail is sufficient; we will delete it promptly.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw any consent given at any time.
