The Attersee is the largest lake located entirely within Austria, renowned for its clear water — perfect for sailing, diving and lakeside cycling. Gustav Klimt spent his summers here and painted the landscape. Bathing spots and lakeside promenades line the shore around Attersee, Nußdorf and Weyregg.
